Pastor's Teaching

SATISFIED!

I John 2:2 -  Jesus has become the propitiation - meaning that Jesus was the only acceptable sacrifice that could pay the price for us!  Mare man could not pay the price (which was death) required for our sins.

Is God pleased with us?  Do we have access to God?  Access to God is not dependent on our righteousness - self righteousness/works.  We are made righteous "in Christ".
Isaiah 64:6 - but we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are like filthy rags - (used sanitary napkin).
Matthew 5:20 - unless our righteousness exceed the righteousness of the Pharisees we cannot enter the kingdom of heaven - self effort we cannot attain to this, it does not qualify us for heaven.

Eph 1:6 ...to the glory of His grace, He has made us accepted in the Beloved!
In Who? - in the Beloved/Jesus.  Matt. 3:17  This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.
Therefore; if God is pleased with Jesus and we are in Him/Jesus - then God is pleased with us!

It's all about what Jesus has done....which is pleasing to God and NOT about what we have done.  What we do or do not do, does not qualify us for heaven.

"Divine Election" - Jesus is divine, was divinely elected/chosen by God - we are in Christ, therefore we are divinely chosen "in Christ".  II Cor. 1:20 - For all the promises of God in Him/Christ are YES and in Him/Christ AMEN, to the glory of God through us.

Rom 5:1- we are at peace with God - God is not mad with us, Heb. 4:16
God is always pleased with us because he sees "in Christ Jesus".  He is satisfied with you!
Eph. 1:1-3 - ....blessed with every spiritual blessings in heavenly places "in Christ"   (V4).

Just as he chose us in Him before the foundations of the world that we should be holy and without blame before Him in Love. - God is LOVE, Jesus is GOD.  HALLELUJAH!
