Biography of Richard Scott
Richard Scott was born in Montego Bay, St. James on August 28th, 1973 to parents Roy Scott and Dawn Shaw. Richard lived in Montego Bay all his life where he attended school and studied Pluming through to Secondary Level. After graduating, Richard did many odd jobs including working with ScotiaBank Jamaica. Richard became the father of one daughter; Renae Serene Scott. In 1997 Richard committed his life fully to the Lord and became Water Baptized. He was a man on fire for the Lord and became an active member of his church, serving in various ministries. As the call of God became evident on his life, an opportunity arose in his Church and he applied for a scholarship and in 2001 – 2003 attended World Changers Bible Institute in Knoxville, Tennessee. Upon returning from Bible School and continuing to serve in his local Church, Mr. Richard Scott proposed to and in 2003 married his beautiful wife Nicola Hacker-Scott. Their family unit now consists of; themselves, their daughters Jody-Anne & Renae and together the union bore one other daughter – Micah Lee Scott. Mr. Scott furthered his studies and gained a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Pastoral Counseling at the Central Christian University of Charlotte, North Carolina. While in Bible School the Lord gave Mr. Scott a vision of a Ministry and so as they began to embrace it and made preparation for what they believed God had placed on their hearts they presented it to their Pastors. In August of 2011 they migrated to Hanover and formed and incorporated Word To Life Church International. WTLC has now been in existence for approximately 1 year and 6 months and is located on the Norman Manley Boulevard in Negril Westmoreland. The Scotts serve together in Ministry, spreading the word of the Lord, causing people to come to the saving knowledge of their Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
